Amazon Service Provider Compliance Overview

Pacific Prep Services operates as an authorized service provider for Amazon sellers. We are committed to maintaining compliance with Amazon Selling Partner API requirements, Amazon Data Protection Policies, and applicable data protection and security standards.

This page outlines our governance structure, operational controls, and compliance practices related to Amazon order and customer data.

Regulatory and Platform Compliance

Pacific Prep Services complies with:

Applicable state and federal data protection regulations

Access to Amazon data is limited strictly to the operational requirements necessary to fulfill authorized seller orders.

Role as an Amazon Service Provider

Pacific Prep Services operates as a third-party fulfillment provider.

We access Amazon data only after explicit authorization from a seller through Amazon’s Service Provider authorization process.

We do not access Amazon seller data without authorization.

Data Governance Framework

Pacific Prep Services maintains internal controls governing how Amazon data is:

Data is used solely for fulfillment operations and is never used for marketing, analytics, resale, or advertising.

Shared credentials are not permitted
Access is reviewed periodically

Access is revoked immediately upon role change or termination.

Logging, Monitoring, and Oversight

Pacific Prep Services maintains monitoring and logging controls for systems that process Amazon data.

These include:

Logging of API access and system activity
Authentication and authorization logging
Monitoring for abnormal or unauthorized access patterns
Log review during audits and incident investigations

Incident Response and Risk Management

Pacific Prep Services maintains a documented incident response process.

In the event of a suspected security incident:

Immediate containment and access restriction
Assessment of scope and impact
Credential rotation and access review
Remediation of identified issues
Internal review and corrective action

Amazon and affected parties are notified when required under applicable policy.

Secure Development and Change Management

Pacific Prep WMS changes are governed by internal change management controls.

These include:

Review and approval prior to deployment
Separation of development and production environments
Secure handling of API credentials and secrets
Protection against accidental credential exposure

System changes affecting Amazon integrations are reviewed prior to release.

Vulnerability Management

Identified vulnerabilities are logged and tracked internally
Findings are prioritized based on severity
Remediation is completed prior to deployment where applicable
Systems are reviewed following remediation

Data Retention and Disposal Controls

Amazon order and customer data:

Is retained only for operational and reconciliation purposes
Is automatically deleted within a defined period after fulfillment completion
Follows the same deletion standards across backups

Sellers may request data deletion at any time.
